On most of our playground products we display a price that excludes delivery and installation.
As manufacturers and installers of our own playground equipment we approach each enquiry as a unique project. Cost may vary due to site location, surfacing requirements, the nature of the the ground our equipment is installed into or access restrictions. Our playground equipment is installed by our own team of playground installers.
When planning a new playground or trim trail for a leisure attraction, a school or a local park, people often want to know what the approximate cost might be.

Our main guiding principle in this crisis is to ensure that our actions do not endanger our customers and the general population, including our staff.
At Action Play and Leisure we are experts in play and fitness – not global pandemics. As such, we are closely following expert advice in best practices for Covid-19 from the NHS and the government.

Why we offer “virtual” playground visits.
All our equipment is designed with safety in mind and is installed with appropriate safety surfaces.
All our playground equipment meets the requisite BS EN1176 playground equipment standards.
We only use our own fully trained installers, so you can be absolutely sure that not only is our equipment safe, it has also been installed properly with the correct safety surface suited to the piece of equipment.
Please contact our playground designers for full information on how we design playgrounds that are safe but still provide challenge and fun for kids.
Our playground equipment is incredibly robust and hard wearing and comes with the following guarantees as standard: 15 year guarantee on timber, 15 years on all steel work, five years on all surfacing and 2 years on manufacture and installation. All our equipment is made vandal-resistant through the use of capped and hidden fixings.

All Action Play & Leisure staff and members of our installation teams carry current enhanced disclosure & barring service certificates, this also includes all our office staff.
All our timbers require no further treatment after installation.
Our timbers are pressure treated and covered by our playground equipment guarantee for 15 years against rot, fungal decal and insect infestation.
The round timbers we use are plained and sanded which leaves them splinter free and smooth to the touch, all our square timbers have rounded corners to remove any sharp edges.
Our timbers carry the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. As manufacturers of timber products we care about the environment that’s why we have a policy of re-planting trees.
Yes – we have our own team of playground installers.
All our playground equipment is installed by our own friendly, dedicated, reliable, trained installers lead by one of our highly experienced site foremen. You can be rest assured your playground equipment and playground safety surfacing will be installed to the BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 playground equipment and safety surfacing standards.
Our playground equipment is specially designed for high usage areas like schools, nurseries, parks, leisure facilities and public play areas.
Our playground equipment is also much more robust and hard wearing than play equipment designed for home use so it is usually more expensive. Our equipment also meets the relevant safety standards (usually) EN 1176 and EN 1177 – these do not apply to non-permanent playground equipment for home use. For more information on playground safety standards see RoSPA
However, we do occasionally install some of our more specialist equipment in back gardens, for example bespoke designs or equipment designed with special access requirements.
